May I introduce myself as Anna Swiczeniuk, a purveyor of images and guises.

At the age of twenty two I would consider myself first and foremost a photographer, however I often dabble in the likes of modelling, performance, makeup artistry and styling. I often collaborate with designers, artists, film-makers and other like-minded individuals to create anomalous visions.

I adore the City of London, and pay a ridiculous amount in order to live in the middle of it, gaining access to a wide variety of inspiration. I currently pay my way as a marketing assistant for the East London-based lingerie brand Playful Promises, and I love my job more than is natural.

I have many inspirations, be it stinkin' 70s funk, Victorian mourning wear, diasporic sounds from the Balkans, the early days of cinema, Dandyism, silly hats, taxidermy in the form of animals wearing human clothing, Napoleonic uniform, regal grandeur, the vanity and finitude of human existence, Catholic iconography, Russian imperialism, Voodoo from the bayou, impressive moustaches or Opera, to name but a few.
